Description

室町時代の古信楽桧垣文壺。

他にはない雰囲気の枯木のニュアンスが感じられます。

明治期（1868–1912年）に作られた藁の編み物で、二つ折りに仕立てた後、同じ藁紐で緩やかに結んであります。内部には何かが詰め込まれていた痕跡が見られ、かつては江戸時代に用いられた叺（かます）のような物入れ、あるいは敷物として機能していた可能性も考えられます。

水漏れもなく、そのまま花入や水盤としてお楽しみいただけます。
